In the Halkal Forest, a watchman grandpa and his bright-eyed grandchild share fruit, starlight, and the bat’s cautionary tale about choosing who you are.

Sometimes people choose to live far from the places they love most. Red Riding Hood’s grandmother was once a teacher in the city, but one day she longed for quiet mornings, birdsong, and the whisper of trees. Every Saturday, Red Riding Hood visits her grandmother — they study together, play the violin, and listen to the breath of the forest.
